@00:50Ah, okay. :)

Our school focuses more on character animation, but we do have a few teachers that are experimental animators. One of them even combined dancing and animation and made it into an art form in the 80's: [link]

So if any of you wonder what ever happened to me. I have been working on this project for animation class. The assignment was originally to combine pixelation and hand-drawn animation. But it was expanded to learn After Effects for me at least.
My friend Alyssa acted for me and I took photos of her. I then cut them all out in photoshop which was hard because of a low contrast background. I then had to make her walk in place and had to resize her. Eventually the photos tracked correctly. Next I hand drew my flower dancers. They were shot on a down shooter and then colored in photoshop with the animation option. I drew the clouds, bushes, and the animation of the water all in photoshop. Everything was brought over to After Effects and compiled. Textures were added as well.
I have asked a friend to make some music for me : D

My teacher Mike Patterson helped me a lot to learn After Effects! Thanks so much to him!

@00:50After Effects is AWESOME, isn't it? XD Watch the feet, cuz she was skating at several places, but other than that, it was a really nice animation. Good idea, the flowers were all animated very well, your actress was great.

And I'm glad that your teacher teaches you guys about pixelation. Some people would see this and go "Oh! Stop-motion!" >_<

@00:50The skating was unavoidable. Because otherwise she kept moving forward. My teacher and me were like "NO! Walk in PLACE!"
Thanks!
Yeah, I like pixelation. We do a lot of different animation techniques because lots of the teachers are into abstract animation.
