Cinderella Story

This was one of my final pieces for my concentration of Fairy Tales in AP Studio Art. I really needed one more piece because I was avoiding another one. So I went looking through a wedding magazine and I saw a girl look at her reflection. Then I started thinking more and more, because I had "little princesses" in my AP Art History class, who thought they were going to meet Mr. Charming and never have to work a day in their lives. Delusional girls, but inspiring non-the-less. So I decided to use that picture I had seen and make one side the girl in rags and the other riches. I added words because I had been longing to do that in a composition. Pen and Ink because it's my favorite medium and it seemed quickest and best suited for the concept.
